I want to go back to SUU!

So today I am pretty dang sad.  Everyone is buying cute things for their dorms and apartments and is getting ready to move away from home.  I wish so badly that I was going back to suu again.  I really love it down there and I am going to miss seeing Devan Chavez and Jennifer Anderson every day.  Hopefully my job will allow me to visit them all of the time.  For once I wish that I was going to school again.  That has never happened to me before!  This fall I will be spending my time working at Carters and then in the spring I plan on going to slcc for a semester. If any of you visit in salt lake, call me!  I wish all of you the best during your fall semester. :)  I am super jealous!!

Finally a New Phone!

After two years of having the same crappy phone, I finally received an upgrade!

It is the HTC evo 3D.  It is the only phone that you can view things in 3D without wearing those dorky glasses.  So far I am loving it! It is way hard to figure out because there are so many different things that you can do with it! So far my favorite features are the gps, easy internet access, and the app store with tons of cool aps. I would highly recommend this phone to anyone!

Another Awesome Job

One day a week I get to tend these two cute guys and their brother Jake. I have been tending these boys for a few years and I just adore them. I am lucky to have such cute cousins. I always look forward to the fun times that I get to spend with them.

Cute Little Sofi

I have three jobs this summer and I love them all.  I nanny for two different families two times a week and then I work at Carters. 

This is Sofi my second cousin and I get to tend her two or three times a week.

She is such a cute little one year old.  Her favorite thing to do is spit.  I am always covered in her saliva! We have lots of fun together and we love going on walks in the warm weather.

I get paid to play with kids!  I am soo lucky!

My Second Dislocation

Last Friday when I was working my kneecap popped out of place. I was on a ladder getting some baby clothes and I twisted my torso but not my knee and that is when I heard the pop. I looked down and my kneecap was sitting on the side of my knee. One of my managers came in and started screaming. After about five minutes we were able to get me off of the ladder. I got to a chair, sat down and straightened my leg and shoved my kneecap back into place. It hurt pretty bad but lately it keeps getting worse. I hurt my ligament and the triangle-shaped bone covering the knee (patella) is hurt.  For now I have to wear a brace for three weeks and walk as little as possible. If it isn't healed by then, I have to go to the doctor and maybe get surgery! What a great start to my summer :)

Yesterday I left Cedar City and it was one of the harder things I had to do in life!  It was really difficult saying goodbye to some of my best friends.  I don't know if I am going to return to SUU next year so I don't know when I will see some of them again.  Hugs were exchanged and tears were shed and it was not fun at all.  I miss Devan Chavez, Michelle Klenke, and Jennifer Anderson a lot! Thanks for all of the fun memories guys. I love you all!

Peeps!

Most people already know how much I love peeps. The day that peeps come out in stores I purchase two packages- one chick and one bunny. One of my favorite things about Easter is peeps. I always look forward to the clearance sale on Easter candy because then I buy tons for just half price. The best way to eat a peep is to open the package and let it get stale for a day or two...it tastes so much better that way. Now that Easter is over I have to wait until Halloween for peeps to come out again. For now, I will cherish the six packages that I have in my room. :)

Bob's Brainfreeze (the best shaved ice in Utah) has announced that they will be opening in three weeks!

It is one of the many things that definitely makes going home to Salt Lake worth it.
